Our physiotherapists have undergone additional training through the Early Intervention Physiotherapy Framework (EIPF) provided by WorkSafe. This specialised training equips them with the expertise to manage WorkCover injuries, ensuring you receive expert, hands-on care and the latest evidence-based rehabilitation techniques.

Our Guide to WorkCover Physiotherapy
WorkSafe itself does not cover the costs of your health services. Instead, four insurance companies provide WorkCover insurance to employees. After WorkSafe issues a claim number, your health provider, employer, and you will work with a case manager from the selected insurance company to manage your claim and coverage.
For clients with an approved WorkCover plan, we offer physiotherapy services with NO GAP FEE. This means you can receive treatment from one of our associate physiotherapists without any out-of-pocket costs. Our associate physiotherapists are specialists in workplace injury treatment and WorkCover physiotherapy, ensuring you receive expert care.
To access benefits as a WorkSafe client, you'll need to provide an 11-digit WorkSafe claim number. At your initial appointment, you'll complete our standard new client form along with additional paperwork related to your injury to meet WorkSafe requirements. After completing these initial steps, you'll receive your treatment or rehabilitation as scheduled, just like any other patient.
At Reach Therapy, you will need to pay for your first visit upfront. However, you will be reimbursed by your employer. We will provide you with an official invoice that you can submit to your employer for reimbursement of your entitlements.
1. Complete a Worker’s Injury Claim Form: Detail all injuries related to your compensation claim. This form can be obtained from the WorkCover website and should be submitted to your employer.
2. Await Decision: You will receive a decision from the WorkCover Agent within 28 days of them receiving your claim from your employer.
During this period, your health takes priority, so you can still visit your GP or a physiotherapist while waiting for claim approval. Note that your employer is responsible for covering the first $744 (current amount) of your medical expenses during this time.
